"Our goal is to focus on sustainable and efficient production assets which use industrial scale and well established technology. Wind energy has matured and is now the most efficient pillar of the energy transition in Europe."
"Due to substantial quantities of government-funded renewable energy, electricity wholesale prices are currently very low. For this reason we decided to focus on wind energy which is, at present, the most efficient new renewable energy source."
"Good wind turbines, a professional company, efficient maintenance and servicing are, next to favourable wind conditions, key factors for a successful wind park. Furthermore, they create regional, sustainable, and interesting jobs."
"Investments in production assets are long-term investments that bare opportunities and risks. Wind energy offers the opportunity to rebuild energy production sustainably and at justifiable costs."
"The energy transition makes great demands on Swiss energy suppliers. In addition to developing renewable energy sources in Switzerland, investments abroad are needed. Wind energy in the neighbouring countries is our energy production of choice – economical, powerful and accepted."
Wind energy is the most important and most economic renewable energy source in Europe, it is efficient and feasible.
SNEE invests in renewable energy abroad and thereby contributes to the energy transition.
SNEE invests in renewable energy (predominantly wind energy) in European countries. Through co-operations with other energy supply companies (EVU) the know-how is enhanced and the risks are shared.
The implementation of the strategy requires concrete measures and steps to ensure that the goals can be met. What have we achieved so far? [read more]
We are glad to inform you of another successful step in the implementation of our strategy.
On 3. July 2015, the HelveticWind partnership has signed an agreement to purchase a planned wind park situated in Genzano di Lucania, Italy (Basilicata). The wind park will have an installed capacity of 16 Megawatts (MW). This is HelveticWind’s second venture in Italy. [read more]
Field of Activity
We invest in renewable energy in European countries, predominantly through co-operations with other energy supply companies. In the process it is necessary to ensure that we are able to physically import energy into Switzerland as required.
We actively manage the portfolio on wind generation and help our investors to develop the percentage of renewable energy and to add interest to the invested capital according to the market rate. We make our decisions independently.
We have a flat management hierarchy and expect and encourage independent action. Transparent communication at all levels promotes entrepreneurial thinking.
Partners are important to us and we get actively and constructively involved.
We invest in projects which are supported by the local communities and make sure that the environment is preserved as much as possible.
